My great-grandmother had given my mom a lilac sprout from her own shrub in Huntington back in the 1960's. It has been blooming outside my mom's kitchen window since. When my husband and I bought our home about 15 years ago, Mom brought me a small shoot from her lilac, and it's thrived and grown into a large, fragrant shrub of the exact color as those you put in the arrangements. Each Spring, we'd talk about and admire the lilacs together. Your gorgeous work has been well received. These were truly special.
